CHASING VERMEER I

This is giving me the idea that three residents of a neighborhood in Chicago receive a letter from an unknown person asking for help in identifying a crime entailing art also intimidating that if they choose to report it to the authorities; they will be putting their lives in danger. The next chapter commences in a classroom where Ms. Hussey promulgates about being clueless on that year's curriculum. Lastly, the class starts as an experiment working on projects relevant to daily life. The next day, Ms. Hussey and the class begin to investigate letter writing.
Meanwhile, Calder Pillay and Petra Andalee  are introduced; Petra is much adrenalized about writing, while Calder who is more rapt about math and pantominoes, seems disgruntled studying words. Both live close on the Harper Avenue but have never been friends. Calder usually spent time with Tommy, who was his clear companion but had travelled lately. The third chapter states more about the two children, a day in their busy lives while they are portrayed completing their assignments and a small colloquy between them at the Powell's - store to find books, where they are surprised to see Ms. Hussey and her strange behavior and try to spy on her. But it mainly depicts a class trip to an art museum, where in all are advised to find unique letters and mysterious paintings. It is again here, when they develop a little conversation.

So, the initial three chapters chiefly enunciate situations regarding art and a 'letter'. Right from people receiving mysterious letters from anonymous, Ms. Hussey speaking of letters and mystery, the scene at Powell's, trip to the art museum to Petra and Calder thinking more of art in their daily lives. I personally think that this book will elaborate more about letters and art mystery.
